Parent/Child Classes
Baby Signing TimeCome sign with us! These American Sign Language classes are based on the award winning Baby Signing Time series created for parents and children from 0 months to 3 years of age.Take the first steps to increasing your child’s reading and communication abilities while alleviating their frustration. Baby Signing Time sets your child's day to music with signs and songs for everyday life. Baby Signing Time sessions include four 45 minute classes and include a Signing Time DVD.
Playgroups
Do you host, or are you part of a regular playgroup? Enrich it with Baby Signing Time! Various curriculum materials to choose from based on your personal preferences!
Signing Time Academy
Songs, stories, games, and fun activities make learning American Sign Language fun and interesting for all ages! Your child will delight in the hands-on multi sensory approach to learning ASL in our classes. Kids love being able to share their new found language with all their friends and family. Learning ASL has all the same benefits of learning any second language and is a great communication enhancer for all children of ALL abilities. Signing Time Academy sessions include four 45-60 minute classes for children over three and parents.
Preschools & Homeschools
Enrichment Programs
Enrich your program with Baby Signing Time or Signing Time classes. Songs, games, and fun activities make learning ASL as a second language fun and interesting. 30, 45, or 60 minute classes and a variety of curriculms provide flexibility for your needs.
Classroom Edition
The Signing Time classroom curriculum is geared towards Pre-K - 3rd grade classrooms. The in depth curriculum provides students with a fantastic introduction to ASL. These classes run in 4 week sessions for 30-60 min/week depending on your schedule. These classes seek to enrich your program for you and your students through the joy of ASL. Dozens of themes and activities provide flexibility as well as meeting your program’s goals.
Homeschool
Program follows the Signing Time Classroom Edition curriculum used throughout a school year. If you or your Homeschool co-op group are interested in learning more about our classes, please contact us for information.
In-service Workshops
These workshops are designed to give teachers the tools to incorporate American Sign Language (ASL) into the current curriculum. As educators, we know that there are different types of learning styles in the classroom; auditory, visual and kinesthetic. Using sign language in your program encompasses all learning styles. The students will hear you when you say the word, he/she will see you make the sign and will also experience/feel the word as he/she learns to sign. These workshops are designed to suit the specific needs of the school. Teachers will learn about the research supporting the use of sign language in the classroom, they will be given resources and will be provided with vocabulary specific to classroom use.
Parent Education Classes
Introductory Presentations for Parents/Caregivers
30 – 90 minutes depending on the event – free with a minimum of 15 people. Introduction to Signing Time Presentations - a single 30 - 60 minute presentation on the benefits of ASL and Signing Time that can be offered in a variety of settings - parenting groups, childcare professionals, medical professionals, and so forth.
Signing Time Workshops
1 ½ - 4 hours depending on the event – rates vary.
This workshop introduces parents, grandparents, and other caregivers to the world of American Sign Language. Parents discuss the whys and hows of signing with infants and toddlers as well as the long-term benefits of signing throughout the school years. One workshop for adults, lasting 90 minutes or more, like a "getting started" seminar on basic ASL for children and using Signing Time. These workshops are perfect for new and expectant parents or for families who want to get started with signing, but don't have time to attend a class series.

Story Time
It’s reading time! Signing Time - Story Time brings books to life with sign language. Learn how to sign key words from each story in ASL so you can sign along. Enjoy 45 minutes of fun stories and songs while increasing your child’s reading and communication abilities.
Birthday Parties
Liven up your child’s birthday party with great games, fun songs, and special party favors. Many themes available for your child’s special interest. Includes Signing Time DVD gift for the birthday kid!
Afterschool Programs
A fun addition to any afterschool program. Many themes to choose from. These classes run for 1 hour/week and match your program’s length.
